Inchworm has dedicated her filmmaking career on telling real stories about African American girls and women. She has written and directed two short films “No More” centered around Breonna Taylor & colorism & “Lost N Found” focusing on Sex Trafficking. Her inspiration for filmmaking began as a child with her mother introducing her to black films. A few of her inspirations are Spike Lee, Ava Duvernay, and Quentin Tarantino. Inchworm’s goal is for the world to be more open to learning about the black experience through short film.
Lost N Found was written and directed by Yashin Inchworm Phillips. The short film follows a fathers journey toward understanding sex trafficking with an experience that hits close to home.
